Frequently Asked Questions

Moving Questions

Do you bring dollies and blankets?
Yes, we do! We bring all the necessary equipment for every move whether it's a full move from A to B, a container load or unload, or just rearranging furniture in your home. We have a wide array of equipment such as hand-trucks, 4-wheel dollies, shoulder dollies, moving blankets, furniture wrap, straps, hand and power tools, and more.
Do you do in-home walk-throughs to plan our move?
Yes, we offer complimentary in-home walk-throughs as long as timeframes allow. This is especially important on large moves and packing services. Our estimator will take photos of areas to be packed, furniture to be moved, and areas like stairs and hallways to better estimate and plan your move.
What payment options do you accept?
We accept credit/debit cards (including Amex), cash, and even Venmo!
Do you sell boxes and other packing materials?
If you have booked packing services with us, we will bring the proper supplies and these will be billed to you. The estimated supply charges will be shown on your estimate. If you're just looking for somewhere to purchase boxes or other moving supplies, we don't sell any from our inventory. We only keep a limited amount of packing supplies as a backup for last-minute packing jobs. When we're hired for larger packing jobs, we order the supplies in advance for those specific jobs.
What time will the movers/packers arrive?
Generally the crew will arrive between 9 - 10 am, depending on where you are located and if you are the first or only client of the day. If you are our 2nd or 3rd move for the day, movers will likely arrive later in the day. Your estimate will show the estimated arrival window of the crew. We will give you a call and/or a text when we are leaving our previous job and on our way to you. If you have any questions regarding the arrival time, just check your estimate! All the date and time information will be there for your reference. Or, you can give us a call!
The weather shows it may storm. Can we reschedule?
Due to the nature of this business, movers still operate in all weather conditions. It's almost impossible to reschedule a service last minute since we may be fully booked for the next month or so, unless you're able to wait that long. Your furniture will be wrapped in blankets and furniture wrap, so that should help keep things as dry as humanly possible. The only time we may call you to reschedule is if there is a mandatory evacuation order due to a hurricane or other natural disaster. However, the above still applies. There's only so much we may be able to do regarding rescheduling, but we'll do all we can to work with you.
Do you offer storage options?
At this time we do not offer storage. However, we can definitely help you find a great storage facility for your belongings and help get you moved into the unit!
Can you give me an estimate for my move?
Yes, our labor is hourly on local moves, but we can provide an estimate for your move including a timeframe and price range. We do this based on information you provide over the phone, through pictures, or an in-person walk-through with one of our estimators/movers! Keep in mind that it is impossible to know exactly how long a move will take, but we strive to be accurate on our estimates. The more information you can give us about your homes, your inventory, and your unique timeframes, the closer we can get!
Do you provide a truck?
Yes, we work with 26 foot box trucks with ramps. If you are renting your own truck, we can provide just the labor to expertly load and unload your truck. Need just one item moved? We can often use a van or smaller truck for pickup and delivery services, depending on the needs of the particular day.
Do you provide packing and unpacking?
Yes, we provide packing services for all areas of the home! Packing and Unpacking is not automatically included in moving services, so please be sure to tell us if you would like Fully Involved Moving Co. to handle your household packing or unpacking.
Do you offer labor only moving services?
Yes, Fully Involved Moving Co. provides truck loading and unloading, Ubox loading and unloading, Pod loading and unloading, as well as household rearranging. Getting new furniture delivered and need help rearranging? The guys can help you arrange your house just the way you want!
