WE LOVE TO GIVE BACK!

First responders across the country enjoy helping others in their community. Many of these agencies even travel across the world to help those in need in the wake of various disasters. We feel no different!

We have made it our mission to help those locally and around the world whenever we can. A portion of profits from each service is donated to various charities, organizations, and local families in need.

We never donate to political or controversial causes. Rather, we focus on supporting organizations involved in feeding the hungry, advancing healthcare, disaster relief, supporting our first responders and veterans, education, and more.

Your support allows us to keep giving back! You will find a brief overview of donations we have made below.

Follow our Instagram or Facebook pages for more updates as we make donations in the future.

At Fully Involved Moving Co, it's not just about business. It's about community.

thank you for your support

BAHAMAS RED CROSS

September - December 2019

The Islands of The Bahamas were hit by an incredibly powerful Category 5 hurricane.

For nearly 2 days, Grand Bahama was subjected to 200+ mph winds. The storm generated 18 - 23 feet of storm surge flooding.

There were at least 74 deaths in the country and 282 still missing at the time of this writing.

In total, Dorian was responsible for an estimated $3.4 billion worth of damages to the Bahamas infrastructure, but the financial damage is predicted to be higher as the country takes a second hit to its revenue otherwise generated during its peak tourism season.

LEBANESE FOOD BANK

August - September 2020

Beirut experienced a major tragedy with the explosion of their main port, is experiencing their worst economic collapse in modern history, and is on the brink of famine.

Before the explosion, it was reported that nearly 1 million people (half of which are children) are on the brink of starvation. Food inflation has hit nearly 200% and the Lebanese Pound has lost 80% of its value since October, 2019. Lebanon imports 80% of its food needs.

With their main port now gone, along with COVID-19 restrictions, it is now "virtually impossible to import food and aid by sea."

LOCAL BLUFFTON FAMILIES

March - April 2021

On March 5th, multiple Bluffton High School students were involved in a horrible tragedy. A senseless shooting resulted in the death of Dwon (DJ) Fields Jr (18), as well as the injuries of 2 other students. A 16-year-old student is still in the hospital at the time of this writing.

DJ was known, loved, and respected by many in the community.

Our community is currently suffering and we want to do all we can to help these families. We have been in contact with one of the families and discovered a way to donate directly. This method will allow for the donation to be dispersed between the families. Our hearts go out to you all!

MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION

December 2021

Make-A-Wish has been granting life-changing wishes for children and families for over 40 years.

Wishes have proven physical and emotional benefits that can give children with critical illnesses a higher chance of survival. And wishes not only help these children – they also have far-reaching, positive impacts on their families and communities.

For children diagnosed with critical illnesses, a wish come true can be a crucial turning point in their lives. A wish can be that spark that helps these children believe that anything is possible and gives them the strength to fight harder against their illnesses.

UKRAINE CRISIS RELIEF FUND

March 2022

In February 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine. Global Giving’s Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund was implemented to help refugees.

Donations made will help “affected communities in Ukraine, with a focus on the most vulnerable, including children, who need access to food, medical services, and psychosocial support.” Donations will also “support humanitarian assistance in impacted communities in Ukraine and surrounding regions where Ukrainian refugees have fled.”

Over the last 8 years of war in Ukraine, more than 850,000 people have been displaced and nearly 3 million people are in need of humanitarian aid. Unfortunately, these numbers are still expected to rise as the crisis is still ongoing.

Damages caused by Ian are estimated to be more than $50 billion at the time of this writing.

Florida's Governor, Ron DeSantis, held a press briefing stating the best way to help with recovery efforts from afar would be by means of monetary donations via floridadisasterfund.org.

LIVE LIKE DJ SCHOLARSHIP FUND

February 2023 & 2024

We had the privilege of partnering with DJ's Day of Giving for the Live Like DJ Scholarship Fund. This fundraiser was started in honor of Bluffton native DJ Fields.

"Our goal with the fund is to help send a class of “D.J. Scholars” to college each year and to help seed community projects and initiatives that were near and dear to D.J.’s heart, like tradesmen education and supporting first responders (D.J. was training to become a volunteer paramedic at the time of his passing)." - Live Like DJ Scholarship Fund.

We aim to partner with them on a yearly basis in February!

LOCAL BLUFFTON FAMILY

July 2023

A few months prior to this donation, a local family in our community (who asked to remain anonymous) experienced a house fire and lost nearly everything.

Thankfully due to the support of the community, the family and their children received various necessities from many of our neighbors.

We also made a donation to help them get back on their feet while they're dealing with this difficult situation.
